Before the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, a series of drawings were done in coffee shops to immortalize simple fleeting moments that people share. These studies captured glimpses of people’s lives while building stories and assumptions about them. Observing people and drawing them was a way to suspend significant moments in time. The final six drawings were later animated as gifs so that elements are added to the narrative.
